Expresses a perspective or standpoint. In Japanese, this is commonly conveyed with particles like から, として, or phrases like から見ると. The choice depends on whether you are stating a factual basis, a role-based perspective, or a subjective viewpoint.

経験から言うと、この方法が一番効率的です。
From the point of view of experience, this method is the most efficient.
Literally 'when viewed from N', used to present a perspective or observation. Often interchangeable with から言うと but slightly more visual or perceptual.
外から見ると、この建物は古く見える。
From the point of view of the outside, this building looks old.

から言うと is used when making a judgment based on a fact or criterion (e.g., 経験から言うと). として is used when speaking from a role or identity (e.g., 専門家として). Do not confuse them.
経験から言うと、それは難しい。
From the point of view of experience, that's difficult.
専門家として、それは問題だと思う。
As an expert, I think that's a problem.
Do not directly translate 'from the point of view of' as 視点から or 観点から in most cases. These are overly literal and unnatural. Use the patterns above instead.
