• あの家いえのおばこは、今年ことしで十じゅう八はちになるんだと。

  That family's daughter is turning eighteen this year, I hear.

• 村むらの祭まつりでは、おばこたちが踊おどりを披ひ露ろうした。

  At the village festival, the young girls performed a dance.
