An emphatic, colloquial retort used when someone is making excuses or acting clueless. It dismisses any 'what about this, what about that' and insists there is no valid reason. Often used in exasperation.
「でも、時間がなくて…」「どうしたもこうしたもない！約束は約束だ。」
"But I didn't have time..." "For crying out loud! A promise is a promise."
どうしたもこうしたもない、さっさと謝りなさい。
No excuses—just apologize already.
