Hibagon; Japanese Bigfoot-like creature

A cryptid from the Hiroshima area, similar to the Yeti or Bigfoot. The name is a portmanteau of 比婆 (Hiba, a mountain region) and ゴン (from ゴリラ, gorilla).

• ヒバゴンは広ひろ島しま県けんの比ひ婆ば山やま周しゅう辺へんで目もく撃げきされたと言いわれている。

  Hibagon is said to have been sighted around Mount Hiba in Hiroshima Prefecture.

• あの番ばん組ぐみでヒバゴンの特とく集しゅうをやっていた。
