Colloquial term from the manga Sazae-san, referring to a husband who moves into his wife's family home and does not take her surname. Often used lightheartedly or jokingly.

He lives with his wife's family, just like a Masuo-san.
マスオさんになると、名字はそのままだけど、奥さんの家族と同居することになる。
If you become a Masuo-san, you keep your surname but end up living with your wife's family.
