Alternative using カタロニア. Same meaning, slightly less common.

カタルーニャ is the more common Japanese rendering of 'Catalonia', derived from the local name. カタロニア comes from Spanish/English and is less frequent but still understood. Stick with カタルーニャ for most situations.
