A descriptive phrase meaning 'linked multimedia'. It can be used to explain hypermedia without using the loanword, but it's wordy and not a standard term.

In almost all contexts, ハイパーメディア is the correct and natural choice. Native Japanese alternatives are rarely used and may sound forced or overly academic.
