案内所 is the native Japanese term and is widely understood. インフォメーションセンター is a loanword that may sound more modern or be used in larger, international facilities. Both are acceptable, but 案内所 is safer in most situations.
In many smaller offices or clinics, the reception desk (受付) serves as the information point. If you're looking for an 'information centre' in a small building, asking for 受付 might be more natural.
