The adverb 'unanimously' describes a situation where everyone in a group agrees on a decision or opinion. In Japanese, this is expressed through specific adverbs, set phrases, or by describing the state of agreement.
To express that a decision, vote, or opinion was made with everyone in agreement, without any dissent.
Literally 'with the whole place in agreement'. This is the most direct and common way to say 'unanimously' in formal contexts like meetings, committees, or official votes.
その提案は満場一致で可決された。
The proposal was passed unanimously.
彼は満場一致で議長に選ばれた。
He was unanimously elected chairperson.
Literally 'with all members in agreement'. Similar to 満場一致で, but emphasizes the agreement of all members rather than the whole assembly. Common in official minutes and reports.
委員会は全会一致でその計画を承認した。

Literally 'with all members agreeing'. Slightly less formal than 全会一致で, but still used in official settings. Can be used for smaller groups.

Literally 'without objection'. Used when a decision is passed without anyone raising an objection, implying unanimity. Common in meeting minutes.
議案は異議なく承認された。

Literally 'with everyone agreeing'. A more descriptive phrase that explicitly states everyone agreed. Less formal and more conversational.
全員が賛成して、その案は通った。
Everyone agreed, and the proposal was passed unanimously.
To express that everyone shares the same opinion or feeling, not necessarily in a formal vote.
Literally 'aligning mouths'. Used when multiple people say the same thing, often in unison or with one voice. Implies strong agreement.
彼らは口を揃えてその計画に反対した。
They unanimously opposed the plan (they all said the same thing).
みんな口を揃えて彼の成功を褒めた。

Literally 'everyone'. Used with a verb of agreement or opinion to express that everyone feels the same way. More conversational.

Everyone unanimously agreed with that opinion.
Literally 'with everyone having the same opinion'. A straightforward, descriptive phrase. Can be used in both formal and informal settings.
全員が同じ意見で、議論はすぐに終わった。
Everyone was of the same opinion, so the discussion ended quickly.
These three phrases are very similar and often interchangeable. 満場一致 (manjō icchi) emphasizes the entire assembly or venue, 全会一致 (zenkai icchi) emphasizes all members of a group, and 全員一致 (zen'in icchi) emphasizes every individual. In practice, 満場一致 is the most common for formal decisions.
