Directly means 'use at the same time'. Common for multitasking or concurrent usage.
二つのアプリを同時に使うとバッテリーが減ります。
Using two apps at the same time drains the battery.
A more formal term for shared use, often used for facilities or equipment.

This printer is shared by everyone.
Emphasizes joint use, often for collaborative purposes.
