職場 (shokuba) is the general term for workplace, including both physical and social aspects. 労働環境 (roudou kankyou) specifically refers to labor conditions, often with a focus on workers' rights, safety, and legal standards. Use 職場 for everyday talk about where you work, and 労働環境 when discussing working conditions formally.
The English phrase 'work environment' is broad. In Japanese, directly translating it as 仕事環境 (shigoto kankyou) is not natural. Instead, choose the term that matches the specific aspect you want to convey.
