Describes moving in a heavy, sluggish, and somewhat dull-witted manner. Often used with と (のそりと).

• 大おおきなクマがのそりと歩あるいている。

  A large bear is lumbering along slowly.

• 彼かれはのそりと立たち上あがった。

  He stood up slowly and clumsily.
