ようやっと

finally; at last

Expresses that something long-awaited or difficult has finally happened. Similar to ようやく and やっと, but with a slightly more emphatic or colloquial feel.

• 長ながい冬ふゆが終おわって、ようやっと春はるが来きた。

  The long winter ended, and spring finally came.

• 何なん度ども挑ちょう戦せんして、ようやっと合ごう格かくできた。

  After many attempts, I finally passed.

barely; only just

Indicates that something was achieved by a narrow margin or with great difficulty. Often used when the result was almost not attained.

  I barely caught the last train.

• 試し験けんの合ごう格かく点てんにようやっと届とどいた。
