ぐーん

adverb taking the 'to' particle

remarkably; noticeably; by leaps and bounds

Mimetic adverb describing a sudden, large change or improvement. Often used with verbs of growth, increase, or progress. Similar to ぐんと but with a longer vowel for emphasis.
