COCOM list
Refers to the list of goods and technologies subject to export controls under the Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Export Controls (COCOM) during the Cold War. A historical term now largely replaced by the Wassenaar Arrangement.
During the Cold War, technologies on the COCOM list could not be exported to the Communist bloc.
