noun
fruit-born type (Momotarō variant)
Rare technical term in Japanese folklore research. Refers to a version of the Momotarō story where the hero is born from a peach (or other fruit) rather than found inside it. Contrasts with 回春型 (kaishun-gata), the 'returning youth' type.
