Dialectal term used in Kansai and Nagano regions for the third scheduled train departure from the current time. Compare with 次発 (the next train) and 次々発 (the train after next).

次発が急行で、次々発が特急です。
The next train is an express, and the one after that is a limited express.
次発 means the next train to depart, while 次々発 means the third train from now (i.e., two trains after the next).
