Archaic second-person pronoun, often used in old texts or as a rough, vulgar form in modern contexts. The reading い is more common; しゃ is rarer.

• 古こ語ごでは「汝い」は「い」と読よまれ、相あい手てを指さす言こと葉ばだった。

  In classical Japanese, 汝 was read as い and referred to the listener.

• 時じ代だい劇げきで「汝い、許ゆるせ」などと言いう場ば面めんがある。

  In period dramas, there are scenes where characters say things like '汝、許せ' (You, forgive me).
