• わいはもう帰かえるで。

  I'm going home now.

Archaic second-person pronoun used to address someone of equal or lower status. Not used in modern Japanese.

• 昔むかしの芝しば居いでは「わい、何なにをしておる」などと言いうことがあった。

  In old plays, one might say, 'You, what are you doing?'
