A rough, old-fashioned Kantō dialect interjection used to express strong disbelief or to challenge what someone just said. Derived from 何を言ってやがるんだい. Has a vulgar, Edo-period townsman flavor; often associated with べらんめえ口調.
「てやんでえ、そんな話があるかよ!」と彼は怒鳴った。
"What the hell are you talking about!?" he yelled.
