Used when someone emphasizes a favor they did in order to make the recipient feel indebted. Rare expression; the more common equivalent is 恩に着せる.

彼はいつも恩にかけるような言い方をする。
He always talks in a way that demands gratitude.
そんなに恩にかけられると、かえって気が重くなる。
When someone keeps reminding me of a favor like that, it actually makes me feel burdened.
Much more common expression with the same meaning. 恩にかける is a rare variant.
Phrase combining 恩 (favor, obligation) with かける (here meaning to impose or press upon). The exact derivation is uncertain, but it parallels the more common 恩に着せる.
