連れん声じょう

Linguistics term for a specific Japanese sandhi phenomenon where the initial consonant of the second kanji changes under the influence of the historical final consonant of the first kanji. Sense 2 is the more precise definition with an example; sense 1 is the broader term. Both are domain-specific and rare outside linguistics.
