から~までFrom ... to ... (range)
から~まで marks the starting and ending boundaries of a time, route, place, or ordered range.
How it works
から follows the starting point, and まで follows the ending point. The two points must form a sensible interval, route, or sequence.
Time, routes, and ordered ranges
The same pattern works across several kinds of range.
Clear endpoints and approximate spans
Use から~まで when you are presenting clear endpoints. から~にかけて is better suited to a looser span whose boundaries are approximate.
