There is no direct Japanese equivalent for 'by the same token'. Translating it word-for-word (e.g., 同じトークンで) will not be understood. Use the phrases above depending on context.
同様に is slightly more formal and common in writing, while 同じように is more conversational. Both are widely used.
彼は素晴らしい教師だ。同様に、彼は素晴らしい学習者でもある。
He is a great teacher. By the same token, he is also a great learner.

Means 'in that sense', used to draw a parallel conclusion. Slightly more abstract.

Means 'therefore' or 'consequently'. Used when the second point follows logically from the first.
