デモ (demo) usually means a political protest or march. 実演 (jitsuen) is a live demonstration of a product, cooking, or performance. Using デモ for a product demo can cause confusion.
The English 'demonstration' as proof or evidence is not translated as デモ. Use 証明 (shōmei) or 証拠 (shōko) instead.
