To say that a state or action has been true since the start and continues unchanged.
The most common and neutral way to say 'from the start'. Used for both concrete and abstract situations.

Very similar to 最初から, but slightly more literary or formal. Often interchangeable.

Means 'originally' or 'from the start', emphasizing the inherent nature of something. Often used when contrasting with a later change.

Formal, often used in business or official contexts to mean 'from the outset' or 'from the initial stage'.

To emphasize that something happened immediately at the start, without delay.

Colloquial, emphatic version of 最初から. Used in casual speech.

Both mean 'from the start', but 最初から is more common in everyday speech. 初めから is slightly more formal and often used in writing or set phrases like 初めから終わりまで (from beginning to end).
Do not translate 'from the start' as スタートから or 開始から in most contexts. These sound unnatural and are not idiomatic Japanese. Use 最初から or 初めから instead.
