In English, 'morning star' and 'evening star' both refer to Venus. In Japanese, 明けの明星 (あけのみょうじょう) is the morning star, while 宵の明星 (よいのみょうじょう) or 夕星 (ゆうづつ) is the evening star. Be careful not to mix them up.
