Literally 'weakly acidic', often used for skin-friendly products. Not a direct translation of pH, but conveys a similar concept.

In modern Japanese, pH is almost always pronounced ピーエイチ (pī eichi), from English. The older pronunciation ペーハー (pēhā) from German is now rare.
