In Japanese, the concept of a part-time workplace is most naturally expressed with the word バイト先 (baito-saki). This is the standard, everyday term. Other options exist but are less common or more formal.
The place where one works a part-time job, such as a convenience store, restaurant, or tutoring center.
The most common and natural way to say 'the place where I work part-time'. Combines バイト (part-time job) with 先 (place/destination). Used in casual and everyday conversation.
バイト先は駅の近くです。
My part-time job is near the station.
バイト先で友達ができました。
I made a friend at my part-time job.
Used specifically for part-time jobs referred to as パート (often for housewives or shorter hours). Not interchangeable with バイト in all contexts.
パート先はスーパーです。
My part-time job is at a supermarket.
A descriptive phrase meaning 'the place where I work'. It is grammatically correct but less specific and more wordy than バイト先. Used when you want to avoid the loanword or in more formal explanations.
私がバイトで働いているところはカフェです。
The place where I work part-time is a cafe.
A slightly more formal version of バイト先, using the full word アルバイト. Still common, but バイト先 is more frequent in casual speech.
アルバイト先の店長は優しいです。
