Translation guide
Pre-ejaculate fluid, a small amount of clear fluid released before ejaculation. In Japanese, it is most commonly referred to as 我慢汁 (がまんじる), a colloquial term. Medical or formal terms exist but are less common in everyday conversation.
The most common, everyday way to refer to pre-cum in casual conversation.
Literally 'endurance juice', this is the standard colloquial term for pre-cum. It is widely understood and used in informal contexts, including sexual slang and adult media.
Formal or clinical terms for pre-ejaculate, used in medical or educational settings.
Do not attempt to translate 'pre-cum' literally as 前精液 or similar. These are not natural Japanese and will not be understood. Stick to the established terms above.
In most casual or intimate situations, 我慢汁 is the go-to word. In formal writing or medical discussions, use 尿道球腺液 or カウパー液. Using slang in a clinical context would be inappropriate.
Pre-cum started coming out.
ちょっと我慢汁がついちゃった。
A little pre-cum got on it.
Literally 'premature running juice', this is another colloquial term. It is slightly less common than 我慢汁 but still understood.
先走り汁が漏れてるよ。
Pre-cum is leaking out.
Medical term derived from 'Cowper's fluid'. This is the formal, anatomical term and is rarely used outside of medical or educational contexts.
カウパー腺液は尿道を潤滑にする。
Cowper's gland fluid lubricates the urethra.
The precise anatomical term for the fluid produced by the bulbourethral glands. This is very technical and not used in everyday speech.
尿道球腺液は射精前に分泌される。
Bulbourethral gland fluid is secreted before ejaculation.
Literally 'pre-ejaculation fluid', a more descriptive formal term. It is less common than 尿道球腺液 but may appear in some educational materials.
射精前液には精子が含まれることがある。
Pre-ejaculatory fluid can sometimes contain sperm.
