What is the capacity of the ROM memory?
In Japanese, ROM is treated as a loanword and written in katakana as ロム. It is used in compound words like ROMカートリッジ (ROM cartridge) or ROMライター (ROM writer). The full term 読み出し専用メモリ is mainly seen in textbooks or specifications.
Data stored in ROM is not erased.
Read-only memory cannot be rewritten.
