A synagogue is a Jewish house of worship and community gathering place. In Japanese, it is most commonly referred to as シナゴーグ, a direct loanword, or ユダヤ教会堂 for a more descriptive term.

Literally 'meeting hall of Judaism'. Used in some written descriptions but less natural than シナゴーグ.
ユダヤ教の会堂は安息日に礼拝が行われます。
Worship is held at the synagogue on the Sabbath.
