傾向 (けいこう) is a native Japanese word for 'tendency' or 'trend', often used in formal or analytical contexts. トレンド (とれんど) is a loanword from English, more casual and often used in fashion or social media. For upward trend, 上昇傾向 is more natural than アップトレンド, which sounds like marketing jargon.
Do not translate 'upward trend' word-for-word as 上方の傾向 or similar. Use the established phrases above. Also, 上向き (うわむき) alone means 'upward' but is an adjective; combine with 傾向 for the full phrase.
