Translation guide
The English word "venue" refers to a place where an event happens. In Japanese, the most natural translation depends on the type of event. Common words include 会場 (kaijou) for general events, 開催地 (kaisai-chi) for the host city/location, and 場所 (basho) in casual contexts. For concerts and live music, ライブハウス (raibu hausu) or ホール (hooru) are used. Note that directly translating "venue" as ベニュー (benyuu) is not standard Japanese.
