Used after a noun or clause to downplay something as being merely that and nothing more, often with a dismissive or modest tone.

  The most he can do is just simple calculations.

• 私わたしの英えい語ご力りょくなんて、日にち常じょう会かい話わくらいのものです。

  My English ability is only about everyday conversation level.
