  The shot missed the goal and ended up a failure.

Archaic use for something nonsensical or absurd. Not used in modern Japanese outside of historical contexts.

• 古こ文ぶん書しょでは「すか」が「たわごと」の意い味みで使つかわれることがある。

  In old documents, すか is sometimes used to mean 'nonsense'.
