dead-ball line (rugby)
Rugby term for the line at each end of the field beyond the try line. The ball is dead once it crosses this line.
ボールがデッドボールラインを越えたので、プレーが止まった。
Play stopped because the ball crossed the dead-ball line.
Variant with interpunct; less common but still seen.
Fully separated variant; rarely used.
