Used in tennis when a ball hits the net cord and still lands in the opponent's court, or in netball when a shot falls in. Often used as a noun or with する to describe the action.

• 彼かれのサーブはネットインして、相あい手ては取とれなかった。

  His serve hit the net and fell in, and the opponent couldn't return it.

• ラッキーなネットインでポイントを取とった。
