しがち

apt to do; tend to do; prone to do

Attaches to the continuative form (連用形) of verbs to express a tendency or inclination, often with a negative connotation. Similar to がち but used specifically after する verbs.

• 彼かれは遅ち刻こくしがちだ。

  He tends to be late.

• 忙いそがしいと食しょく事じを抜ぬかしがちだ。

  When busy, people tend to skip meals.
