Used with time periods (months, years, seasons) to indicate a rough time near the end. Often follows a noun like 今月, 来年, or 江戸時代.

• 来らい月げつ末すえ頃ごろには引ひっ越こす予よ定ていです。

  I plan to move around the end of next month.

• 江え戸ど時じ代だい末すえ頃ごろに書かかれた本ほんです。

  It's a book written around the end of the Edo period.
