Archaic honorific second-person pronoun. Used in classical Japanese, especially in poetry and formal address to superiors. Not used in modern speech.

• 古こ歌かに「汝みましがため」と詠よまれた表ひょう現げんがある。

  In old poems, there is the expression 'for you' using 汝 (みまし).
