Dialectal (Hokkaido, Tohoku) intransitive verb describing something that absorbs water and becomes swollen, soft, or mushy. Similar to standard ふやける.

The bread got soaked in water and became all soggy.
長くお風呂に入っていたら指がうるけてきた。
My fingers got all pruney and soft from staying in the bath too long.
