米こめつきバッタ

noun

Oriental longheaded locust; Acrida cinerea

Refers specifically to the grasshopper species Acrida cinerea, known for its elongated head. The name literally means 'rice-pounding grasshopper', possibly from a movement resembling the pestle motion.
