Cakraratna; wheel treasure
Buddhist term for a wheel-shaped treasure possessed by a cakravartin (ideal universal ruler), said to roll ahead and clear the path. Also associated with the Dharma wheel (法輪).
The Cakraratna is one of the seven treasures of the cakravartin.
In Buddhist art, the wheel treasure is often depicted together with the Dharma wheel.
転輪王 is the cakravartin, the ideal universal ruler who possesses the 輪宝 among other treasures.
