Dated colloquial term for a simple point-and-shoot camera, originally an abbreviation of バカチョンカメラ. The term is sensitive and sometimes considered offensive because チョン can be an ethnic slur for Koreans. Modern usage is rare; コンパクトカメラ or オートフォーカスカメラ are preferred.
