Cao Wei; Wei (Three Kingdoms)
Refers to the kingdom of Wei (220–266 CE) during China's Three Kingdoms period, also known as Cao Wei. Often contrasted with Shu and Wu.
Wei was one of the Three Kingdoms, whose foundation was laid by Cao Cao.
Refers to the earlier kingdom of Wei (403–225 BCE) during China's Warring States period. Not to be confused with the later Cao Wei.
The Wei of the Warring States period flourished mainly in the southern part of present-day Shanxi Province.
