ichigoni; sea urchin and abalone soup
A traditional Japanese soup from the Tohoku region, especially associated with Aomori Prefecture. The name comes from the sea urchin resembling wild strawberries (いちご) in the soup.
I tried ichigoni, a local dish from Aomori, for the first time.
