お椀わん

Meanings

Polite term for a wooden bowl, often used in traditional Japanese dining. The honorific prefix お makes it more respectful than plain 椀.

〈物もの〉をお椀わんに盛もるto serve food in a bowl
みそ汁しるをお椀わんに盛もって出だした。
I served the miso soup in a bowl and brought it out.
