A genre of fictional works, primarily manga, anime, and novels, focusing on romantic or sexual relationships between male characters, typically created by and for women. The term originates from the phrase ヤマなし、オチなし、意味なし (no climax, no punchline, no meaning), originally used in doujinshi circles.
