Euler's theorem
Mathematical term referring to any of several theorems named after Leonhard Euler, most commonly Euler's theorem in number theory (a generalization of Fermat's little theorem) or Euler's theorem for polyhedra.
Euler's theorem plays an important role in number theory and geometry.
Named after the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707–1783). The Japanese term is a direct borrowing of the English 'Euler's theorem'.
